At Cygnets we offer places for children aged 2 to 5 years, term time only from 7.30am until 6pm, Monday to Friday, offering child care places for both funded and chargeable hours. With a dedicated, experienced and well established team we thrive on seeing children, learn, have fun and achieve their potential. We are experienced in caring and supporting children with additional needs, please see information on additional provision in the policy and our local offer sections of this site. We are committed to help all children grow in an environment that emphasizes, care, kindness and mutual respect.
Our philosophy is “Children’s play is their work” At Cygnets we promote learning through play by following the children’s interests and looking for teachable moments where we can extend and embed learning. If children are involved in making their own choices they become more independent and confident in their learning.
